Our excellent staff of volunteers is the key ingredient to the continued success of our festival. Whether helping in the children's program, selling tickets, recycling, or working behind the scenes, the positive attitude, attention to detail and problem solving abilities of our staff keeps the festival running smoothly.
Most volunteer positions require a 4-hour shift for 4 days of
the festival (16 hours total), or a full day doing
setup or teardown, in exchange for a full festival
pass. WorldFest is committed to making
the festival as sustainable as possible, and for this year we are
replacing the staff t-shirt with a reusable ChicoBag, sporting the
WorldFest logo. We
can keep 25,000 plastic bags out of the landfill
if each volunteer uses their WorldFest ChicoBag once a week for
the next year!
Bring your canteen to refill at the CoolerZone water stations. To
reduce the use of disposable plastic water bottles, we’ll
have souvenir WorldFest canteens for sale.

The vast majority of volunteers return to work each new festival and renew old acquaintances. However, openings do occur, so if you are interested in becoming a member of our festival staff please fill out the information on the form below. Be certain to let us know the areas you have experience in, and the days you are available. We will review your application and contact you if we have an opening.
Returning volunteers and staff, please make note of your volunteer area, supervisor and if you would like the same position for this year. Your information will be forwarded to your supervisor who will confirm your participation. Thank you!
